Finally some oysters in the north. Picked about 1.5 lb today. They're about 2 weeks earlier than normal, but it seems late after the early mild spring.

I was surprised to find a few in an area with full sun exposure in Washington County last week. Didn't think they'd be there considering the lack of rain the past couple weeks.
Also still finding some ramps in woods but they are getting harder to spot since their leaves are rotting away.

Also still finding some ramps in woods but they are getting harder to spot since their leaves are rotting away. If you found patches earlier or can ID the ramps by the flower stalk, it is the best time to get out and dig up the bulbs! They are getting much bigger now.
