Okay, I'm thinking Saturday, I'm just hoping a few more will be interested in joining. Anybody have any ideas for a place to go? We can choose somewhere that is right in the middle of all of us who are interested.

hello fellow Central WI hunters... I live in the area as well ( Rosholt area). I love hunting mushrooms, and if everything permits, I would love to join you all on Sat. depending on when and where you decide to go. I have a few friends who will be in town (avid mushroomers as well) that i think would also love to join in if it all works out and if that's o.k. At least with this recent much needed rain, there should be some good finds out there. Do you have a place in mind already? let me know if you would like more company out there! I would love to meet more folks in the area who share the same love for the fungi as I do.

Thats great, the more the merrier/ the more fungi we should find! We still need to decide a when and where. Right at the moment I am thinking maybe meeting up at like 1ish or earlier. Input on that, again, would be great. I have a just a few ideas for places: Hartman Creek State Park, Standing Rock Park, but I am definitely leaning towards the Greenwood Wildlife Area (as I have never hunted it and it seems like it would be a great place as it is listed as an oak savanna and easy access of highway 39/51).

I just found out I might not be able to make it. I had something important come up at home that I may have to head back for this weekend. I will know for sure by tomorrow though  . But feel free to keep it going for saturday!!! |
