Found the site a couple days ago and am happy I did. I became very interested in mushrooms while guiding fly fisherman in the Rockies. I have been in WI now since 2007 and don't ever plan on leaving. I miss the mountains and pickup beds full of hedgehogs, kings, and chantrelles but am pleased to have soo many morel, chicken, and hen spots on my gps now ;D I have taught many more about my hobby and my wife and step kids love when I go foraging. I have a list of 5 newbies ready to go this spring already. I love finding the beauty in the small and overlooked. Thanks for a great site! T

Glad you joined! Many of us forage all year in whatever way possible...like chaga in the winter for example. You might find the shrooms ad big but you will find them as tasty!
