Saturday, July 21st, Hiles Fire Department Hall in Hiles Wisconsin (in the Nicolet National Forest) at 8:30pm. Cost - FREE This year at the WMS Annual Chanterelle Foray Weekend we will be having a very special guest speaker: Jay Justice and he is a BOLETE expert! He came to speak at this event two years ago and is incredibly educated about boletes. You will not need to join the WMS or pay to listen to him. I believe (don't quote me) that he works at the University of Arkansas. I met him a couple years back and he's a really great guy to meet as well! The club will be having a dinner first that starts at 7pm so be aware that the delicious smell food may be lingering...don't come hungry! Jay will speak right after dinner. In previous years some of the club members leave and don't stay for the lecture so there should be plenty of sitting room if you decide to come.

Patrick, this will only be a lecture at 8:30pm on Saturday night. The Northwoods event has gotten to be SO popular that it's been expanded to 4 days vs. the three it had been since it started a few years ago! If you want to be part of the entire event there is still time to get registered. You will need to become part of the WMS for $20/yr and also pay for the event which has gone up to $50 per adult (only adults who plan on being part of catered Saturday night dinner.
