Today my room mate handed me 1 oz of dried morels, not sure where he got them from but did not care!
I slowly reconstituted them in 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup vanilla almond milk (unsweetened) with about an ounce of dried red onion.
Boiled up some noodles, roasted one bulb of garlic, added one can of fire roasted tomato and one diced red bell pepper.
let everything cool down, added in chunks of perch fillet (about 6 medium fillets) and put it in a baking dish... topped with Pecorino Romano cheese crumbles and covered with foil. Baked at 325 for 1 hour.
Flippin amazing! would have been great with other meat (venison!) or without meat all together too! Kinda wish I had a burbot for it though.
