Mushroom hunting is like fishing......for mushrooms.

This is my mom's traditional holiday breakfast, but I have made it my own with adding mushrooms.
1 lb. Original Jimmy Deans sausage. (I make my own and use that) 1/2 lb. morels cooked down in butter 2 cups milk 6 eggs 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3 cups of shredded cheese 12 slices white bread w/crust removed
Scramble eggs and set aside. In seperate bowl mix soup and milk and set aside. Grease 13x9 baking dish and lay bread on bottom stacked in two layers of six each. Brown sausage and put on top of bread. Put mushrooms on top of bread then sprinkle cheese over top. Now drizzle egg in a zig zag pattern over top and do the same with soup mixture. Cover and refrigerate over night. In morning preheat I've to 350, uncover, and bake for 1 hr and 10min give or take. Let cool and enjoy!
I have loved this dish my whole life and now even more since finding mushrooms. Just let it cool for a half hour or so. We have made this with about everything. Artichoke and swiss is another favorite.
