Somewhat new at this...help!

Found some morels on our land a few years ago by a big dead elm that we fondly named 'Ol Faithful...last year a complete bust, and wondering if we are just missing something entirely...I have seen random people parked on the road by our land in years past...any help regarding shrooming in the Lodi area would be much appreciated

Depending on the age and condition of the tree, it may have given all it has to give. Then again, if you are seeing cars parked by your land., others may also be able to see this large elm and know what she has to give.

If you don't want people on you land make sure to post it no trespassing. If they continue to enter you land without permission, show them that the land is protected by Smith and Wesson. If they still don't get it, hold them there (with for mentioned S&W) and call the police to come arrest them.

Thanks! I wanted to call the police right then and there! Hubby was feeling a little more polite that day - didn't even take their dang mushrooms. Are elms the only trees that morels grow by? I've heard so many different stories!
