Hey there! Long time no chat... I'm just wondering if anyone has found any blewits yet this year? My usual spots have none yet but oddly, I found one lonely blewit last month!
How's everybody doing?

Hey! Not much going on up in Polk County that I have seen. There were meadow mushrooms coming up in everyone else's lawn this past weekend, and I've seen a few puffballs here and there. Been checking at my in-laws' place for honeys and hen of the woods, but haven't found any yet. My father-in-law got bored last month and pulled up the only stump I've ever found honey mushrooms on, so I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to pick them.
I found a couple of brown-capped leccinums last week, but not much else of note.

Picked roughly 5lbs of these blewits today my first time finding them in 3 yrs of looking and they're everywhere in the woods I found them in.So I now hopefully have them for years to come.Found a couple of scabe stalks too,dont think I'll eat them though.
