Found a ton of these today and thought I would bring some home and try them. Well first off if you collect these put them in a separate sack because they will ruin your beautiful chanterelles. Secondly I tried a small one when I got home and wasn't impressed. I like the grocery store mushrooms better. Its also hard to get and dirt off them because of the crazy surface. The one thing I do like about them is just about every time I saw one black trumpets were close by....
