newbie wants to go under someones wing

i was wondering if there is anyone in my area which is western wis. buffalo county that would possibly take me along or lived close enough to me to help me identify wild mushrooms? i have several books and guides but need expert advice before i eat them. right now i only eat morels and hen of the woods.
