Found first trumpets of the year 6/19. Only a few that were good size.

Found a decent amount of trumpets over the weekend, my biggest haul of them ever actually. Dang things are hard to see. Filled 2 trays on the dehydrator anyway, so enough to last a little while. Also pictured are one really nice hedgehog, a bear's tooth, and a couple of golden chants.  |

Nice find! Seems to be a good year for trumpets for me too, I have found more than ever this year. Maybe though I'm just getting better at spotting them, dunno. They are one of our favorites, really tasty in soups, so it's nice to have a couple baggies of them around.
