I counted 7, was having blurry vision myself. I found 36 smaller ones on Saturday in deeper woods while turkey hunting. The birds were less cooperative. On Sunday, I gave a gobbler a ride home in my truck and later found 6 that were a little larger on a sunny side hill while taking my dogs for a run. This weekend should be good here in Sheboygan County, we got a little more moisture, which was needed.

Went south again this weekend, brought home 6#. Many were getting soggy with the rain. No pattern as far as which direction to attack. The East and North did produce somewhat fresher specimen. We left as many as we picked due to condition. Crawford County.

Well, I spent a couple hours looking around in a few spots yesterday, ended up with 4 total mushrooms in Polk County, hoping it is still early up here. We had some rain last week, but could use some more, everything is still a little dry.
Also found my first deer tick biting me in the back yesterday. Hopefully that doesn't turn ugly.

Congratulations on the 6#s I am envious! Went out Saturday and got hit with a blizzard. Crazy weather. Luckily no ticks yet. Found 35 more. We are in Sheboygan County.

We found our first deer tick of the year on one of our dogs on March 1st. I found a wood tick crawling on my chest on May 9. So although it has not been warm, they are out there. Be aware but not afraid.

Thanks Grammacroc! It's always great when you can find a good haul. I have the most fun when you find stumps left behind and find the morels they missed. We found smalls that were shot and monsters still in good shape. Wish I had more time.

With the warm temps I think our season has come to an end. Went to our late spot and found it had been logged. In the coming years I expect the undergrowth to take over. It was difficult to walk with all the branches covering the ground. Typically I find a nice flush of oysters, but I think there is too much sun now. If morel season has ended, we finished with a total of 105. Maybe it is time to think of summer shrooms.

Praying this rain is just in time to salvage a central Wisconsin season. We have found a few but it has been way too dry. Not seeing other types of mushrooms either. Kinda scary....

Anyone still finding any? Went out for another look Wednesday night. Got caught in a thunder shower that shortened our search. Came home with 1 lonely morel. Guess I am hoping for that last flush. Sure would like to hear that someone is having better luck.

Worst fears are confirmed, that was a quick season. If you found any you are doing better than most. But the oysters are starting to show! Going to go north for a long shot but not holding my breath...
