Monday July 17th I found my 1st chanterelle's of the year. Not many, but enough for a nice meal for the two of us. A little bit of fresh zucchini from the garden in the sauté pan, tastes like summer is here.

Still plenty of chants in the woods, but full of little worms. I know that might not bother some of you, but it does me.
Anyone else having any luck of any kind? Been kind of quiet here.

Haven't been on here in a long time. Finally found a small patch of yellow chants today. Some buggy, but some were solid. Also found Hen of the woods by 2 trees! My season has begun.
