Just a reminder to everyone: Fall hunting season is here. If you go mushroom hunting on public land, be sure to wear bright clothing, preferably something with blaze orange on it.

This time of year there are guns and arrows in the woods also, you don't want to get hit with one of those.

I know that when I am out there, I really appreciate it when I can see someone coming from a long ways away.

Thanks for the reminder dan,

personally, when I go out this time of year I try to go out during the middle of the day especially weekdays if at all possible to avoid hunters so we both get great experiences out there (as I am one myself as well). If it seems like there are quite a few hunters in a spot I'll just try another one and try that spot later. That's all just me though.
