I have also found quite a few really dark greys this week too. They tended to be out of the sunny areas/ in the leaves. Found maybe 5lbs all together this weekend!
P.S. Earthmom, I think you may be underestimating the weights of your finds. I found that a normal potato/onion bag could hold ~ 5lbs itself.

Nice finds EM!
I went out for about 5 hours today. Found 2 that were half eaten by slugs in the same area that I went to last week. That place is so heavily hit. Then I went to a new place that I have never looked before and I don't think many people know about. Found 4 really plump fresh ones. I am willing to bet there are more there, but my son was starting to get really fussy and I had to cut it short. I'll go back this week by myself and do a more thorough check. If it produces more I think this will be a spot that I share with no one.
One last thing, I know I have mentioned this before, and I don't want to have to add it to the forum rules if I don't have too, but can we please use an image hosting site for photos? There is limited storage on the board and if it starts getting full I will have to start deleting old posts that contain pictures. Plus, with an image hosting site more than one picture can be put in a post. Thanks!

Just do what I do. I post them on my facebook then just copy the image URL. Works fine and I don't think that takes up space here.

No worries EM. Just keep the pics coming! I don't have the spots or the time to find the poundage that everyone else does, so I am living vicariously thru you!

Ooo gorgeous morels! I too have found some under live ash this year and that's new for me. I even found some under poplar as well! I've been making extra certain to keep my eyes to the ground no matter where I am in the forest. Payne has even found them under live oak in a previous year so you truly just need to keep your eyes scanning while walking.

I finally found some in Eau Claire County, found these under an aspen and an old apple tree of some sort on a friend's property. Didn't think they were up yet around here, but someone at work said they found a bunch yesterday, so i figured i'd better go look too.

You guys, use smaller pixel sizes, or post on the FB wall and paste the link. I don't want to lose data and important information because we're slapping up 2000x1000 pics. They are gorgeous though...

Found about a dozen today northern Washington County. A couple greys medium sized. Med sized yellows and two bug yellows about 6 inches. South slope and west slope full sun field edges. Greys under dead elm probable the last for those trees most bark is gone. Most of the yellows wwere just randomly scattered under mixed hardwoods and aspen. Two big on s came off a dead as of this year ash found a bunch of greys under the same tree last week.
Weird year. Have yet to find a mushroom in my usual spots. Hoping to get some heat I am sure 30 ish at night is not helping.
