Earthmom - very envious of the antler. Have been looking for years with no luck. Congrats! Found 13 tiny jellybean size morels in Sheboygan county today!!!! On private land so I left them to grow. Was on an east facing slope. Took a photo with my phone but have no idea how to post. I'm bit challenged when it comes to technology. Anyhow - they are starting to pop!!!

GramaC- they lose their antlers ever year right? Why are they hard to find then? I really do feel fortunate to have found. Congrats on the morels! What a strange year; I feel kind of confused like I've missed he season yet I've seen that they are still barely there. It's been hard finding kid care too but by the the looks of these itty-bitty morels I still have time.

EM-Usually the squirrels and porkies (and other rodents) devour antlers during the winter and spring for the calcium they contain. The one you found is in good shape-they typically have a lot of chewing on them.
