I would say that photobucket is actually the prefered method, or facebook like some others are doing.
Correct me if I am wrong mushroommike, butI am assuming that your comment is in response to the size of the image when included as an attachment. yea or neh?

Yeah, I meant the pixel size of the actual picture. I know posting some of those images takes up a considerable amount of data space.

We've picked about 5 lbs so far around Washington, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties. The 3.5 lbs under one tree on Saturday morning really helped. If they hadn't been on public land I probably would have left them to grew bigger to possibly 5 to 10 lbs. But last season we had horrible luck with leaving little morels to grow bigger. Still only finding them on south and southeast facing slopes. I was surprised to see how few hunters were out last weekend. This week I'm seeing quite a few cars pulled off to the side of the road near dead elms.

About 2.5 lbs today. Lots of walking with a couple here and there and then found 50 under one tree--my personal best (probably not much to brag about for the veterans on the board but I was stoked!)

I've been in the forest most days this week. On Tuesday I went to a friend's house to show her how to find morels...we chatted and talked our way around her property, not even looking very hard and came away with five pounds! It is so nice to hunt on private land. I really don't need morels...I don't sell them...so she kept them all. I hit a place here in Madison quickly later that day and only found a pound if what I can only assume were those MushroomMike missed. ;-) I know you it's you MM! Does Sporeprint Steve still go with you?
MIKEOLOGIST- My phone died that day but I got your message. Maybe Sunday or next week? Hopefully Sunday for DD and you.

No problem earthmom, well do it next week. Im going to be in the twin cities over the weekend. Theres a huge wooded ravine across the street from my folks, hopefully that will be producing when I go up there. My old man wants to learn how to hunt, so hopefully Ill show him "the ropes" or hyphae I guess....

There is a reason businesses put up cubicle walls and don't give their employees window seats. If they did, they would stare out the window and daydream about what they might be able to find in that small patch of woods they can see. That exact thing was happening to me, so I decided to go for a walk at lunch. I was only there for a short while, but I managed to pull out this one, one more just like it, and 2 more slightly smaller. I guess the yellows are out and I think I will go for a longer walk after work. ;D
